Active Living on the Olympic Peninsula
One of the reasons I love living and working on the Olympic Peninsula is the bounty of things to do. Any given day, during the week or weekend, you will find something for young or old alike. Even small communities have what seems to be an endless supply of things to do.
The quaint master planned resort community of Port Ludlow, has about 3000 resident, and many of the residents will say their calendars are more booked now than they've ever been! There's always something going on in this community. This year's Port Ludlow Days festival is an example of taking all the good in Port Ludlow, and condensing it into 3 days of FUN! If you're in the area, and are looking for something to do in one of the Pacific Northwest's most beautiful places, be sure to stop by Port Ludlow. If you're a golfer, there's a golf tournament, there's a pet photo contest and parade, Artists' League Gallery & Sale, outstanding crafts from local craftsman, hiking, carshow and gimmick rally, music, good food, and the First Ever, Community Block Party!

Some other great little communities, with lots of things to do: Port Gamble, Port Townsend, Sequim, Poulsbo
